Boot Windows ARM on Raspbery PI4 from SSD via USB3 adapter

I want to test my dev on ARM devices. With an SDCard it’s too slow, Windows is unusable.

I do :

  • I build an Windows 10 ARM ISO
  • enable USB with “winpatch”
  • put on SSD (via USB3-SATA adapter)
  • use an USB ethernet adapter for internet and transfers
  • I use a USB-C PowerDelivery 65W

The issue info:

  • BOOT_STOPPED : failed to open device: sdcard
  • Bootloader 2020/04/16

It works with SDCard but too slow. What can i do ?
